Information that we might collect
When you make a donation, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address in order to fulfil that order.
Why we need it
We need to know your personal data so that we can complete the donations you have requested. We will not collect any data that we do not need in order to provide this service. With your permission, we may occasionally send you emails about our projects and other updates.
How long do we keep your data
We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal information for a minimum of 6 years, after which time it will be destroyed. Your information we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.
Sharing data
Your information will not be sold, exchanged, transferred or given to any other company, other than for the purpose of payment and delivery of the purchased product requested by the customer. Third-party processors, such as credit card companies and shipping companies may process your information but only to the extent that is necessary to assist us in providing a service to you. Aside from our service providers, Cotswolds Rivers Trust will not disclose your personal data to any third parties except as set out below:

You have the following right to enquire about what personal data we hold about you at any time, subject to a fee specified by law, and to ask us to update and correct any out-of-date or incorrect personal data that we hold about you free of charge; and (as set out above) to opt out of marketing communications that we may send you.
